I am going to break here to talk to you about money. Money has no part to play in a devoted relationship; however I will give you an invaluable lesson about money. The reason for this is that sometimes money courses friction in a relationship.

The secret to money is to “Live Within Your Income!” It does not matter how rich you are if you spend more money than you have there will be friction.

Mick Jagger was right when his sang “You can’t always get what you want, but you can if you try get what you need”. The importance of this is to set your level of need, then think clearly and carefully how you will earn enough money to meet that need. You will be surprised at how cleaver and inventive you can be.

The idea that you need two incomes is completely wrong. One smart person and earn much more than two incomes. My household costs $5,000.00 per week to operate; I have a small business and find the money without any problem. It does not matter how much money your partner earns today. When I married my wife I earned less than $300.00 per week and had no assets. Money is something that comes when you ask for it.

I am strong believer that if the man seeks to be the head of the household he must provide all the money. My advice in an upcoming section will be that when you marry or absolutely on the birth of your first child, that you must not be in paid employment again in your life. He must keep you in an agreed standard of living in complete security, reliability and stability. It is the mans role to provide. It gives him an opportunity to show his devotion and gains him the respect of his wife and family. Harmony resigns when the financial position is stable and a wife can attend solely to her husband, her own and her children’s needs. My wife has not worked for 17 years.

Your role is to support your husband to earn money but not to get involved on a day to day basis. It is a very bad idea to work with your husband. Your husband is very likely to be a very different person at work. Also you risk your relationship turning into a business one, if you are too involved. This will upset the harmony created by your devoted love. Devoted love operates on a completely different level from money and business.

Finally, do not concern yourself about money. Devoted love is where your bliss lives not in your bank balance or in any possession. Provided that you live within your income harmony will reign!
